Dua Lipa (born in London) is an English singer and songwriter who was born on 22 August 1995, in London United Kingdom. The self-titled debut album was released in 2017, after she joined Warner Bros Records. It climbed to the third place on the U.K. Chart for Albums. The album released eight singles including Be the only I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules (UK number one). The album also climbed at number 6 on the charts in the United States. Lipa was awarded her Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist as well as British Breakthrough Act. Her album has been certified as platinum in several countries worldwide. Dua Lipa was born in London in the UK by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). By way of her maternal grandmother Dua Lipa, the actress is Bosnian.
